Cosmic Era collects only what is necessary to deliver your personal horoscope. We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties for advertising purposes.
1. Who we are

2. What data we collect
When you use Cosmic Era, we may collect:
- Birth data — date, approximate time and place of birth, which you provide voluntarily to generate your horoscope. This data is stored locally in your browser (localStorage) and is not transmitted to our servers unless you make a purchase.
- Email address — collected at the time of purchase via Stripe, to deliver your weekly horoscope.
- Payment data — processed exclusively by Stripe. Cosmic Era never sees or stores your card details.
- Usage data — anonymous analytics such as page views, language selected, and device type, used to improve the service.
3. How we use your data
- To generate and deliver your personal horoscope by email.
- To communicate with you about your subscription (delivery confirmations, cycle updates).
- To improve the service based on aggregated, anonymous usage patterns.
We do not use your data for automated profiling, targeted advertising, or any purpose beyond delivering the service you purchased.
4. Legal basis (GDPR)
We process your data under the following legal bases:
- Contract performance — to deliver the horoscope service you purchased.
- Legitimate interest — to improve and maintain the service.
- Consent — for any optional communications beyond service delivery.
5. Data retention
Your birth data is stored in your browser's localStorage and remains under your control at all times — you can delete it by clearing your browser data or using the "Start over" option in the app.
Your email and purchase information is retained for the duration of your active cycle, and for up to 3 years thereafter for legal and accounting purposes.

Under GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.

8. Cookies
Cosmic Era uses only essential technical cookies required for the service to function. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. No cookie consent banner is required for essential cookies under GDPR.
